Trumpism: The Prosperity Gospel for the Perpetually Aggrieved
How a Movement Turned Grievance into a Religion — And Trump into Its Orange Messiah
There was a time when a certain kind of American believed their dominance was preordained. They ruled the factories, controlled the culture, and never had to question whether the world revolved around them. But then, a nightmare unfolded: others demanded a seat at the table.
Women stopped apologizing. Black voices got louder. LGBTQ+ Americans refused to hide. The social order was shifting, and rather than adapting, the entitled chose to declare themselves the real victims.
Enter Trumpism: a movement built on the sacred belief that losing privilege is oppression.
The Gospel of Fake Persecution
Trumpism isn’t an ideology — it’s a prosperity gospel of entitlement, promising its followers that America was meant for them and them alone.
If they succeed, it’s because they deserve it.
If they fail, it’s because wokeness, immigrants, or the Deep State stole what was rightfully theirs.
Losing is impossible — unless the system is rigged.
This delusional perspective is why every MAGA setback is a conspiracy, a fraud, or a betrayal:
Trump loses? Rigged election.
MAGA candidate flops? Mail-in ballot fraud.
A Democrat wins? The Deep State is at work.
MAGA Theology 101: You are owed control of America. If reality disagrees, reality is wrong.
Saint Donald and the Church of the Perpetually Aggrieved
Trump isn’t just a politician — he’s the Patron Saint of Self-Pity, a man who preaches that his followers are entitled to power, immune to consequences, and victims whenever they don’t get their way.
He embodies all their hypocrisies but sells them as virtues:
Rich but “relatable.”
A liar, but only to those who deserve it.
A criminal but persecuted by the “real” bad guys.
The secret to his appeal? He doesn’t fix their problems — he validates their excuses.
Saint Donald suffered greatly for their sins — mostly in the form of indictments, Twitter bans, and the horror of occasionally pretending to like Bible verses.
The Rules Don’t Apply to Me: A Guide to MAGA Hypocrisy
Trumpism thrives on selective morality:
Government control is tyranny — except when banning books and abortion.
Cancel culture is bad — unless we’re boycotting Disney and Bud Light.
Socialism is evil — except for farm subsidies, Medicare, and Social Security.
Immigrants are lazy — yet somehow stealing all the jobs.
“Back the Blue!” — unless they’re arresting my friends.
They don’t see hypocrisy as a flaw—it’s a strategy.
MAGA Logic: Rules are for other people.
The MAGA Church and Its Sacred Rituals
Every faith has its sacraments. Trumpism is no different.
1. The Holy Hat – Red, made in China, is overpriced and a substitute for critical thinking.
2. The Communion of Self-Pity – It’s best consumed in Fox News monologues and Facebook rants.
3. The Prosperity Gospel of Tax Cuts – Sold as help for the working class, delivered to billionaires.
4. The Perpetual Witch Hunt – No matter the evidence, Trump is always innocent — and accountability is an attack on “real Americans.”
MAGA Sermon: Blessed are the persecuted… or at least those who pretend to be while still holding most of the power.
The Reckoning That Will Never Come
Trumpists cannot self-reflect because the moment they do, the entire premise collapses.
If they admit that:
Immigrants aren’t destroying America…
Wokeness isn’t ruining their lives…
Trump isn’t their savior…
Then, they must accept that their entitlement was the real problem all along.
And that will never happen.
Trumpism isn’t about truth. It’s about preserving the myth that they are the rightful owners of America.
And so, like the televangelists of old, Trump will keep selling the same miracle cure for a disease that only exists in their minds:
🚨 America is slipping away! You deserve more! Give me power, and I’ll give it back to you! 🚨
The catch? America was never really theirs to begin with.
